Author Guidelines

According to the order of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus dated 01.04.2014 No. 94 (as amended by the order of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus dated 13.01.2017 No. 6) the scientific journal "Soil Science and Agrochemistry" is included in the List of scientific publications of the Republic of Belarus for publishing the results of dissertation research. Submitted articles must be original materials not previously published in other print media.

The text of the scientific article should be prepared in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 5 of the Instructions for the preparation of a thesis, abstract and publications on the topic of the thesis (approved by the Resolution of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Belarus No. 3 dated February 28, 2014) and have the following structure: index according to the Universal Decimal Classification (UDC ); introduction; the main part (sections - methods and objects of research, research results and their discussion), conclusions, list of cited sources. An abstract in Russian and English is attached to the article (with the translation of the title of the article, the names of the authors). The article must be signed by all authors.

The size of the article should not exceed 10 pages of A 4 format. All materials are submitted in printed form on white paper and electronic media.

The electronic version must be typed in a text editor Microsoft Word in Arial font (point size - 10 pt, single-spaced, paragraph - 0.75). Figures are given in TIF, JPG 300-600 dpi format. The text on the figures should also be typed in the Arial typeface, the size of the point is commensurate with the size of the figure. Legends for figures and diagrams are made separately. Illustrations, formulas, equations and footnotes found in the article should be numbered in accordance with the citation order in the text.

The dimension of all quantities used in the articles must comply with the International System of Units (SI).

Information about the sources is drawn up in accordance with the interstate standard GOST 7.80-2000 “Bibliographic record. The submitted article is sent for review, then endorsed by the editorial board member and considered at the editorial board meeting. Returning an article to the author for revision does not mean that it has been accepted for publication.

The editors reserve the right to make editorial corrections in the text.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The manuscripts are accepted if has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.
  2. The materials should be prepared in a format OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or World Perfect.
  3. Internet links are provided as a complete URL. 

  4. Text should be typed with an interval of one and a half line spacing, font Times New Roman, 14 pt; to highlight the accents it is recommended to use italics rather than underlining (except Internet links). All images, graphics and tables are placed within the text according to the meaning of the particular part of text  (and not at the end of the document).
  5. Text should follow the stylistic and bibliography requirements as stated in  Regulations  located in the Part "About Us." 

  6. Please, remove the authors' names from the title of the article and other parts of the document to ensure the  anonymity of reviewing.
